The vision behind Legacy Village

Legacy Village brings together a development vision with deep local and construction roots. The community is being developed by B&G Developers, formed by longtime friends who grew up in Van, with homes built by Triple-E Builders.

The vision for Legacy Village is to create more than a collection of new homes. It is a thoughtfully planned neighborhood designed to feel welcoming, connected, and at home in Van from the very beginning.

For B&G Developers, Legacy Village is an opportunity to create something lasting—a community that residents are proud to call home and that becomes part of Van for years to come.

What makes Legacy Village special?

Legacy Village is designed to offer the character and sense of place of an established neighborhood with the benefits of a brand-new home. Thoughtful streetscapes, sidewalks, street lamps, attractive homes, and a variety of floor plans will create a community that feels welcoming rather than cookie-cutter. The goal is a neighborhood that feels comfortable, well cared for, and desirable for years to come.

The builder behind the homes

Triple-E Builders is the builder behind the homes of Legacy Village. Named for brothers Evan, Elia, and Eric, the family-owned company grew from a shared background in construction and their father's dream of seeing his sons build something lasting together.

With more than 85 years of combined construction experience across the family, Triple-E brings generations of hands-on knowledge to Legacy Village. For the family, the project is especially meaningful—the homes they build here will carry not only the Triple-E name, but their reputation for years to come.

Co-Owner

Evan Britt brings more than two decades of construction experience and deep East Texas roots to Legacy Village. As owner and project manager of Triple-E Builders, he combines hands-on building experience with a strong technical background in construction management, drafting, and design.

A native of Van, Evan has built his career in the communities surrounding Legacy Village, working across residential construction, commercial projects, custom homes, and land development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and an Associate degree in Computer Drafting & Design.

At Legacy Village, Evan oversees the construction side of the community, helping ensure each home reflects the quality, functionality, and craftsmanship expected from Triple-E Builders. His experience also plays an important role in developing floor plans and construction standards that make sense for today’s homeowners.

Paxton

Co-Owner

Paxton Gilchrist, the “G” in B&G Developers, brings more than two decades of business leadership, operations, and growth experience to Legacy Village.

Paxton is also co-owner of Door Controls USA, a family-founded East Texas company headquartered in Ben Wheeler, which he and his sister, Summer, assumed ownership of in 2016.

That entrepreneurial experience carries directly into his work with B&G Developers. Paxton brings a practical, long-term perspective to development—looking beyond the construction of individual homes to consider how thoughtful planning, quality, and sound business decisions create lasting value for an entire community.

Through B&G Developers, Paxton is helping bring that vision to Legacy Village in Van: a thoughtfully planned neighborhood designed to offer quality homes, an attractive community, and lasting value for East Texas homeowners.

Charisse

Community Sales, Marketing and Design Manager

With a background in real estate, business, and interior design, Charisse brings a unique combination of the buyer’s perspective, business experience, and a design-focused approach to Legacy Village.

Working across sales, design, and purchasing, Charisse helps guide buyers through the homebuilding process while also working behind the scenes on the details that shape each home. From floor plans and finish selections to fixtures, materials, and purchasing decisions, she helps ensure that each choice supports both the overall vision for Legacy Village and the way homeowners will actually live in their spaces.

Her approach to design is rooted in creating homes that feel elevated and thoughtfully designed while remaining comfortable, functional, and attainable. She considers not only how a home looks, but how its layout, finishes, and everyday details contribute to the buyer experience and long-term value.

At Legacy Village, Charisse serves as a connection between the development team and the homeowner—helping translate the vision for the community into homes that feel cohesive, welcoming, and distinctly their own.
